Dear Friends and Members of the NIAF Family,
I know your inbox is inundated with messages in these days before Thanksgiving and will grow ever fuller as we await the arrival of the holiday season. I hope you don’t mind me adding myself to the myriad of e-mails, but I just wanted to take a moment to send a quick note of personal thanks to each of you.
At the heart of the Thanksgiving holiday is the call for each of us to pause, reflect, and count the many blessings in our lives. As I reflect on the many thanks I need to give, I want you to know that from the bottom of my heart, I count your support of our works at the National Italian American Foundation amongst my blessings.
I’m so thankful that we have a community that, even after years of assimilation and integration, counts itself 26 million strong, proud, and engaged in the promotion and protection of our incredible Italian American heritage. Thank you for the support and participation you give NIAF throughout the year, but most of all, thank you for your pride in being Italian American.
From all of us at NIAF, we wish you and your family a very blessed and happy Thanksgiving and I remain always,
Yours in Partnership,
John M. Viola
