National Italian American Foundation Graduates to Leaders Workshop

NIAF is offering a Graduates to Leaders Workshop that focuses on professional leadership skills. The workshop will take place at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. The  Program will examine the success of Italian Americans’ in the legal profession as well as outline how leadership skills assisted the speakers in achieving their professional goals. The guest speakers will give advice and motivate college students and young professionals in the legal profession. The workshop is being offered in conjunction with the New Jersey Italian American Heritage Commission Conference on Saturday, October 15, 2011.  The Keynote Speaker is Hon. Samuel A. Alito, Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Registration is $25.00 and includes the NJIAHC Conference, the G2L workshops and an annual membership to NIAF. Recent college graduates and young professionals ages 21 and over are invited to participate. Space is limited to a first-come, first-served basis.

NJIAHC Conference begins at 8:30AM – 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy Conference (for those interested in participating in the NJIAHC Conference).

Curriculum Contest Winners and Keynote Speaker – 11:00AM Italia 150 Curriculum Contest Winners announced followed by Hon. Samuel A. Alito’s keynote address. (Graduates to Leaders program participants are encouraged to attend the Keynote Address).

Lunch will be served at 12:15PM followed by the Graduates to Leaders Program Speakers (to be announced).
